I finished another batch of cabinets!
Here they were before:

Here they were before:
I filled the holes where the handles were, primed and painted the cabinets and put on new knobs. The hinges are original.
I had already completed this batch of cabinets...
...and put in a new window treatment.

Next on the To-Do List:

Your kitchen looks amazing! It looks so much bigger and brighter with the white cabinets, and I can't wait to see the finished room!
I prefer the top design, as it seems more of an open pattern, and I think would accent rather than overpower. Both are fantastic, though.
I love the look of the white cabinets and the black hinges add a nice touch. Good luck with the project!
I love what you did! It looks so fresh and clean with white cabinets! Great job!
Great job! I love the wallpaper! Both look great to me! And both are totally my style.
By the way, thanks for the comment! I commented back on my blog! :-)
Love the transformation! I can imagine it when it is all finished! It will look amazing!
Wow - what a fabulous transformation - we're tackling section 3 of our kitchen this weekend. Looks like we're in a race to finish aren't we Megan???
Love your back splash idea, I might have to borrow that.
: )
Looks great! I actually WISH I had cabinets I could easily paint...mine are pressed particle board covered in that glue on melamine with no detail on the front, no knobs, nothing. I have a plan to make them have some 'features' but paint would be the easiest/cheapest! :) yours look awesome!
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my painted 'granite' counter top post- I think that if you were already planning on replacing your counter top you've got nothing to lose...just try it! You may save yourself some big bucks like I did & love it! :) If you do try it please send me some pictures! I'd LOVE to see it!! :)
Beautiful job!! I love some white in the kitchen! Found you through CSI...so glad I did! -shaunna :)
Thank you all! This project has been tedious but I am really happy with how it is turning out!
We're tackling the counter tops around the sink this weekend, I'm actually off to Home Depot right now to try and find a new faucet.
Look for a post about it Sunday or Monday.
Stunning! I know it has to be SO much work -- but SO worth it!!
Your cabinets look incredible!! I have been contemplating the same thing in my kitchen but I am afraid the cabinets won't come out looking smooth and clean. Getting the courage...
Ooooh very pretty:) I love the wallpaper pattern too! I'm kind of happy wallpaper is making a comeback, in more palatable patterns of course. I've been admiring the damask black and white fabric as of late.
I hope you post whatever you decide to do on the wallpaper.
I love the white. Its so pretty. That wallpaper backsplash is such a great idea.
