My wardrobe was looking a little blah so I decided to add some style with these quick and easy wrist cuffs!
You can make them as basic or funky as you want just by your choice in fabric.
Since they are reversible you can make one side basic and the other side funky so that you can instantly change your look depending on where you are going!
SUPPLIES:
2 Fabric Pieces (width = 2" x length = the size of your wrist plus 2")
Fusible Interfacing (1 1/4" wide x the size of your wrist long)
1" Velcro Piece
I have weird child-size wrists that are less than 6" around so I cut my fabric to be 8" long x 2" wide. My fusible interfacing was 1 1/4" wide x 6" long.
Take your two fabric pieces and put them together with the print sides together and the wrong sides facing out. Sew them together with a 1/4" seam leaving an opening of about 2-3" to use for turning out later on. Snip the corners.
Remove the paper from one side of your fusible interfacing and iron it on. Let cool. Remove the paper from the other side.
Turn your fabric right side out. Use a pen to push the corners out.
Iron it flat on both sides to get the other side of the fusible interfacing to adhere to the fabric. Then sew around the entire thing.
Sew one piece of the velcro onto one end. Flip it over and sew the other piece on the opposite end on the opposite side.
Now you have a fun, personalized wrist band!
That you can change instantly!
In case you were wondering, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. My skin really is that pasty white. I'm so white I practically glow in the dark. Is Summer ever going to come?!
