Rootbeer Pulled Pork

These slow cooker bbq pulled pork sandwiches are super fast and easy. Perfect for a busy night like when you are getting used to being back to school. The root beer keeps the meat really moist and tender. It also adds a delightful, slightly sweet flavor.

Ingredients:
2lb Pork Tenderloin
12oz Root Beer
18oz Barbeque Sauce
8 Hamburger Buns

Cut pork tenderloin in half and place in slow cooker. Pour the root beer over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.

Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with a fork. Discard the root beer. Replace the shredded pork and mix in the barbeque sauce. Serve immediately or warm in slow cooker until ready to serve.  Scoop meat onto hamburger buns and enjoy!

This looks good! I've made Pioneer Woman's Dr. Pepper pork before, but hadn't thought of using root beer. I try to sneak the Dr. Pepper into our non-caffeine drinking house, but if my kids catch me, you would think they'd just found me drinking whiskey, or something. Using root beer sounds like it would be better for my reputation!
