Two years after adding some mini cereal boxes to my craft stash, I have finally used all of them! I started out with a Mini Cereal Box Desk Organizer which my son still uses every day. I love the fun pop of color that it adds to our living room. Now I am going to show you how to turn the rest into fun little notebooks.
1. Cut off the top and bottom tabs. Then remove one of the sides and cut away one of the covers. On the cover with the side still attached, make sure that the side is on the left. Trim down the side if needed (you might notice this in the next picture).
2. Cut down five sheets of paper so that they are the same height as your box and double the width. You should be able to get two pieces out of each full sized sheet of paper for a total of ten sheets. My boxes were 4 1/2" tall x 2 5/8" wide so I cut my pages to 4 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" wide. Fold the sheets in half to make the book easier to close when you are done. Take the cover with the side attached and lay it on top of your sheets of paper. Line up the creases and staple in a couple of places.
3. Glue the back cover onto the side that you had overlapped. I used super glue but any other adhesive would work. You could probably even get away with using some double-stick tape.
4. Close the notebook and press the crease keep it closed. Repeat with more boxes!

So cute!! I always need little notebooks, so this is a doubly great idea.
