Want to make your sewing space a little more fun? Try turning a Hot Wheel into a pincushion! This would also make a cute gift for the sewers in your life. :)
Start with a Hot Wheel or Matchbox pick up truck or car with a bed. Cut a piece of poster board or heavy card stock to fit into the bed.
Cut a piece of white muslin or color coordinated fabric a bit larger than the poster board. Glue it down on three sides (picture 1). Stuff fiber filling in the open side (picture 2). Pull the fourth side tight and glue in place (picture 3).
Glue the cushion into the bed of the truck and fill with straight pins.
