Balloon Animal Necklace

This balloon animal pendant would be fun for a kid or someone who just refuses to grow up and wants to add some whimsy to their wardrobe. All you need is a small package of Sculpey!

Roll some of the clay into a thin rope (about 1/4 inch).
Cut off six pieces of identical length.

Ears & Legs:

Take three of the lengths you just cut.

Fold in half and press ends together.

 

Nose:

Take the a fourth cut piece and cut in half.

Shape one half into a donut.

Roll the other half into a ball. 

Place it in the center of the donut piece.

Left to Right: Body, Head, and Tail:

Take the two remaining pieces that you cut in step one and roll into balls.

Using a piece of clay roughly three times the size of the other pieces,

shape into an oval for the body.

Stick all of the pieces together to match the first picture in this post.

Bake at 275F for about 15 minutes. 

Allow to cool completely.

Carefully screw a Screw Eye Bail into the ears.
String a ball chain necklace through the bail and you're done!
