Since my husband is going to be Gibbs for Halloween, he convinced me to be Abby. I think this may have been his main motivation for choosing his costume. ;)
For the base of my costume I found knee-high boots at a thrift store for $8, a school-girl skirt also from a thrift store $4, and black polo that I already owned.
I found a lab coat at a thrift store for $2 and gave it an NCIS logo using the freezer paper stencil tutorial. Then I added some black fingernail polish, dark eye makeup, and braided pigtails. I would have gotten a dog collar but I have a piercing on the back of my neck and that would have irritated it so I used an old large bead chain necklace instead. And of course, an Abby costume wouldn't be complete without a Caf-Pow!
I found a Caf-Pow logo here, extended the red so it would wrap around and resized it to fit a large Burger King cup. Then I just Mod Podged it on.
Finally, I had my husband draw on a spiderweb neck tattoo using $1 E.L.F. Liquid Eyeliner from Target. I also considered using black hair spray but I figured it would rub off on the white lab coat.
TOTAL COST FOR ABBY COSTUME: $15

Too cute! I love matching Halloween outfits! You need the spikey dog collar thing that she wears. LOL It is probably uncomfortable though.
Oh my gosh, that's so awesome! What a cool idea! I love that show!
Love it! Going as Abby this year, and this helped me with part of it! Thanks!
