Were you able to guess my husband's Halloween costume from the clue in this post? Well...he is going to be Leroy Jethro Gibbs from NCIS! He will start out the evening in office attire:
Then later in the evening switch to the Gibbs working on his boat in the basement costume:
If you are obsessed with the show like we are, you know that when Gibbs first started with NCIS it was still called NIS. So the shirt he usually wears working on the boat is old NIS shirt. :)
GIBBS OFFICE COSTUME:
Jeans and Boots (already owned)
Gray Polo (thrift store $2)
White T-Shirt (already owned)
Navy Blazer (thrift store $1.50)
Gun, Handcuffs and Badge (costume store $8)
White Hair Color (costume store $4)
Gray T-Shirt (Jo-Ann Fabrics $2.50)
NIS Logo (about $.25 using Freezer Paper Stencil Tutorial)
Mason Jar with Bourbon (already owned)
Black Long Sleeve T-Shirt, optional (already owned)
TOTAL FOR BOTH COSTUMES: about $18
We could have done it quite a bit cheaper by using a gun, badge and handcuffs from Dollar Tree but we wanted some that were more realistic and can be used for future costumes.
So what are you going to be for All Hallow's Eve?
