Organizing Power Cords

While cleaning our messy junk drawer, I found several chargers for various electronics and decided that it was time to get them organized. Now we can find the exact one that we are looking for when we need it instead of trying to guess which one it is.

All I did was put each one in a snack size ziploc bag and labeled it with what item it is for. I put the bags in a plastic shoe box ($.97 each from Home Depot) and moved the box to the closet. It doesn't get much easier than that!

Personally, I didn't think the drawers looked too bad BEFORE...oops, I guess that tells the tale of MY drawers! I try, but I have so much stuff that it'd cost me a fortune to buy all the containers...love the little snack size ziplocs!

I love it! I'm stealing the idea for organizing the a/c adapters and power cables. Great work.

I would do this with my odds n ends cords that aren't getting used but I need all my other cords out nearly everyday. I keep a hot supply of baggies ready too cause there really is nothing easier.
