Crock Pot Pizza

Over the years Shelby has introduced me to some...interesting recipes. Some are a little too redneck unusual for my tastes (think: peanut butter and mustard sandwiches or deep fried dandelions) but there are a few that are actually pretty good! This crock pot pizza is one of them. :)

Although this recipe is for the slow cooker, you should be able layer it all in a casserole dish and bake it at 350F until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through. The only problem is that this recipe makes a lot of food so you will need a really big casserole dish.

Crock Pot Pizza

Ingredients:
16oz box of Rotini Pasta
1lb Ground Beef
24oz jar Prego Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
4oz jar Sliced Mushrooms
1/2 cup Chopped White Onions
8oz Sliced Pepperoni
8oz Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
8oz Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove from heat, drain, and return to skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, and onions.

Layer half of the ingredients in a slow cooker in the following order: sauce, noodles, pepperoni, and cheeses. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Cook on high for 45 minutes or low for 90 minutes or until heated through. Serve hot.

Oh, you haven't seen anything yet. Next week I am sharing a truffle recipe that was so addictive it felt like I gained five pounds in one night! I really need to get back on my diet too.
