No-Fail Pizza Dough


I have tried a bunch of different pizza dough recipes and this is by far my favorite! It has a great flavor and has turned out perfect every time.



No-Fail Pizza Dough
adapted from Deals to Meals

Ingredients:
2 3/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
2 teaspoon Sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 teaspoon Instant Dry Yeast
1 cup Warm Water (160F)

In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add warm water and stir for two minutes or until all dough is thoroughly combined and forms a ball. Let sit for 2 minutes. Mix again for 30 seconds. Transfer dough to a large greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a warm area for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until doubled in size. 

Place pizza stone or cookie sheet in oven and preheat to 425F. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface and divide in half. Return one half to bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Roll remaining half to the size of your baking sheet. Press onto hot baking sheet and top with sauce. Bake for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and add toppings and cheese. Bake for another 4-5 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Makes: 2 Medium Pizzas
